TO ACCOMPANY CHEESES

The pairing of cheese and jam is a timeless classic of Italian gastronomic culture. These two complementary foods, when combined in the right way, make flavors explode in a unique way.

Indeed, the sweetness of jams perfectly balances the saltiness or acidity of cheeses and, with the right combinations, a perfect balance of flavors is achieved that enhances their taste. Each cheese prefers a different pairing, capable of bringing out its specific organoleptic characteristics to the fullest. Fresh cheeses pair well with more tangy jams, such as our pomegranate jelly.

For goat cheeses and blue cheeses such as gorgonzola, we have developed a unique recipe: tomato jam with vanilla. On the other hand, more aged and savory cheeses pair well with sweeter flavors, such as our quince jelly or mushroom jam, a recipe of our own creation.
